Fashion that will make you go back in time: 90s-2000s Edition

Now I'm not a 90s baby, but I am a 2000s one! I must say fashion back then was something so different and unique that how could we not bring it back? I know sometimes we look back on pictures and wonder why in the world did I put this on? Who told me this looked good? But honestly now in today's fashion we have learned to reconstruct fashion from the 90s-2000s and make it fresher. You have to remember your roots and today's fashion certainly does.
What I loved about this era is that fashion was not always about wearing tight clothes, but it was about feeling comfortable and finding your unique style. One style that I absolutely love is overalls and I am so glad they are making a comeback. Overalls look good on everyone! Oversized overalls, with one strap down, paired with an oversized shirt is without a doubt a fresh fit to throw on. It's a fun, casual fit and can be very affordable. On my blog, I will show you how to ball on a budget. I also really appreciate that in both outfits they are paired with a bucket hat which ties the whole outfit together. One thing I am proud of in today's age is that we have finally accepted the fact that clothes are for everyone!
Now I must say I have never seen a fashion trend come up so much and last so long more than the Criss Cross Halter Top. May I just say Christina Aguilera was serving very much early 2000s in this photo and looked amazing doing so!
Criss Cross Halter Tops were the trend of the summer and a very common night out top. These tops are super cute and cheap and can be worn in many ways. One of my favorite ways to style this type of top is by wearing them with boyfriend jeans with only rips on the knees and paired with Chelsea boots. You could also add one or two rings on the finger to add a final touch.
A trend from the early 90s-2000s that is not quite my favorite, but for sure has made a come back are low-rise jeans.
These jeans have always been around, but have been buried by mom, boyfriend, and high-waisted jeans. Now they are digging themselves out and making themselves known. For my readers who love low-rise jeans the way I would style them is by matching it with a V collared solid tank top with flat slide mules and small, silver or gold hoop earrings depending on the color of the shirt and jeans. This is an outfit that would make me want to go and buy a pair of low-rise jeans!
Honestly y'all I am so glad this fashion trend came back. It by far is one of my favorites that I even had to buy my sister an I a pair.
Platform boots are the perfect pop of grunge you need for your outfit. Balck platform boots are a very good edition to add to your closet because they can go with a casual, sexy, grudge, or even bohemian outfit. My favorite type of platform boots are black Chelsea platform boots. I go to college in Upstate New York and they are so common around campus and are worn by men and women! The photo of how they are worn now is exactly an outfit I would wear with platform boots.
